Is contamination has increased all over the world, developing major environmental problems, yet it may be effectively identified with electrochemical sensors. Lead (Pb) and mercury (Hg) are poisonous heavy metals that harm aquatic life and human health due to their highly toxic effects, bioaccumulation, and nondegradability. Herein, MOF with L-Aspartic acid as a linker was prepared via microwave heating method to investigate its potential for the electrochemical detection of Pb (II) and Hg (II) metal ions. L-aspartic acid is naturally available and biocompatible. The synthesized MOF with amino showed excellent surface properties. Using PEDOT: PSS increases the conductivity of the composite and ferrites provide adsorption sites for HM capturing. Therefore, the as-obtained PEDOT: PSS/MOF(Fe-LAA)@BiFeO3 exhibits a large no of active sites, liable charge transfer, and high stability and conductivity, which results in the enhanced sensitivity and stability for the electrochemical detection of HMIs. The microwave heating method produced MOF with a uniform heating rate, low processing time, low energy consumption, higher yield, and less environmental pollution. The synthesized PEDOT: PSS/MOF(Fe-LAA)@BiFeO3 was characterized by XRD. The electrochemical behavior PEDOT: PSS/MOF(Fe-LAA)@BiFeO3 was investigated using cyclic voltammetry (CV). The Pb (II) and Hg (II) ions were identified by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) at pH 5. The limit of detection (LOD) for Pb (II) and Hg (II) ions was 17.12ngL-1 and 3.78 ngL-1 respectively.
