Hostel Spotter

Abstract

Hostel spotter is a website to provide an online service for the students to find and search different hostel to stay. For the past few years, the number of educational institutions are increasing rapidly. Thereby the number of hostels are also increasing for the accommodation of the students studying in this institution. And hence there is a lot of strain on the person who are running the hostel and website are not usually used in this context. This web project deals with the problems on managing a hostel and avoids the problems which occur when carried manually. Identification of the drawbacks of the existing online website leads to the designing of computerized website that will be compatible to the existing website with the system which is more user friendly and more GUI oriented. We can improve the efficiency of the website, thus overcome the drawbacks of the existing online website. The same website may have been made throughout the world, but such website is not made in Afghanistan, so we decide to build such website in order to bring more facility for our people A hostel is a shelter for the students those come far from their houses. Hostel lives play important role on the student’s behavior and personality. Students learn the value of discipline from each other. In short atmosphere of hostel is useful for study. But if hostel do not give them all the facilities which they want then it will affect their studies and their life too. Therefore, we want to make a platform for the students through which they can select their hostels according to their facilities and price range which they want.
