Road safety refers to the measures and strategies implemented to prevent road traffic accidents and reduce their severity. It encompasses the behavior of road users, the condition of vehicles, and the design and management of road infrastructure. In many developing countries, rapid urbanization, poor enforcement of traffic laws, and lack of public awareness contribute to high accident rates. This study highlights the importance of education, engineering solutions, and strict enforcement of regulations to promote safer roads. It also emphasizes the role of technology, policy reforms, and community participation in reducing injuries and fatalities, ensuring a secure and efficient transportation system for all.
