Entrepreneurship is the heart and soul of every business initiative. This study develops and tests a model of the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and project success in Engineering Services sector of Pakistan. As quantitative research, a survey was used to collect data. A sample of 282 valid answers from project practitioners was treated through the structural equation modelling method. As research implications, the main result points out the positive correlation between the entrepreneurial orientation and the project success, and negative moderating role of Absorptive Capacity. In practical terms, understanding the dimensions of the EO, can contribute to project success. Whereas, Absorptive Capacity may partially negatively moderate this relationship, in the absence of market turbulence.
