Abstract
According to the most recent insights of the National Judicial Policy Making Committee of Pakistan, over 2 million cases are forthcoming in the judicial courts of Pakistan, particularly in the rural sides, due to inadequate resources such as (knowledge in the form of book/ Literature) and experience of the Lawyers, a case can be inefficiently represented and filed by lawyers which can lead towards undesirable outcome such as delayed results. None of researcher has addressed that problem until now. Such situation invites researcher attention to address the matter. Keeping in view the dire need of a system that may facilitate judiciary and Lawyer’s’ community, the researchers preferred to focus on developing such frameworks that may assist Lawyers and Judicial Members in their decision making by using Legal Support Systems. Furthermore, there is lack of relevant comprehensive knowledge resources repository (i.e., explicit /Tacit knowledge) well organized and timely available to Lawyers at Lower courts. The lack of automated systems particularly judicial decision support system in the Family Courts. Consequently, it may impede efficient processing of cases to be decided at the best earliest, but these must wait for many months for final judgment of the respectable court. To address the problems/limitations in the existing judiciary systems, the development of an Intelligent Legal Agent (ILA) seems to be essential to address the matter. There is lack of relevant knowledge resources (explicit knowledge) available to Lawyers at Lower courts. We implemented Intelligent Legal Agent (ILA) to address the needs of lawyers working in lower courts with limited resources available to update them with the recent judgment practices timely. The Intelligent Legal Agent attempted artificial intelligence, natural langue processing and machine learning techniques for development of ILA that will match input response (Casual and Compact) of user with the court judgements (Formal and Clear). It may lead to constructing a framework of digital assistant like Alexa or Siri that are contributing to the field of Law. The ILA agent gets trained by using supervised leaning techniques over numerous legal disputes already decided by the court of Law. The resulting outcome of agent (ILA) may provide needed assistance to potential users (i.e., Lawyers and other stakeholders) to retrieve timely information contributive towards their decision making
