| dc.description.abstract | This research aims to explore the relationship between agile project management practices and project success, along with the influence of pivotal factors. Agile project management has undeniably established its efficacy and success within the software industry, as a result, recognizing the need to apply agile project management practices in various sectors beyond software industry can also be beneficial. This research seeks to bridge the gap between the software industry's success with agile project management and its applicability and effectiveness in other industries. The proposed model includes agile project management as an independent variable, project success as a dependent variable, and six factors acting as moderators - customer participation, technical capability of the team, relationship performance, project modularity, coordination cost and customer demand ambiguity. Using a data sample of 195 project management professionals and a questionnaire having 39 items, this study will significantly contribute to a profound comprehension of the pivotal role played by these key factors within the sphere of agile project management, thereby furnishing invaluable insights for practitioners and researchers alike. | |
