Abstract

In the environment of technology everyone is interested in mobiles and computers. Pakistani people are also gradually shifting their work to the latest technologies providing the services of shopping, games, earning, interviews and tests online. This project is based on an online hostel booking system in Pakistan. It is a web application for online advance booking of private hostels and flats for the students and job holders who face difficulties in situations where they have to search different unknown places for the appropriate and reasonable place to live in other cities. This application would benefit not only the students or job holders rather it would provide a great opportunity for the hostel owners as well. It’s a very user-friendly application which is closest to the Pakistani standards. This web application provides many efficient functions and filters that would help the user to search according to the prices and facilities provided at the hostel. It includes a review box for the students where they will share their opinions to help the other users to make the right choice while choosing one for himself. The user can complain any time using the application to the admin if he feels any discomfort or if he feels like the hostel management is not providing him with necessary facilities as was mentioned in description of hostel. This application would provide authentic posts, hostel location and 24-hour service for help at any condition.
