Abstract
Resilience, also known as the capacity to overcome any adversity and get back to the job with
more strength and resourcefulness, is considered a fundamental quality in today’s working
environment. A virtual team is like a regular team, but the difference is that a virtual team does
its job remotely or without an office while using various means of communication and other
technological gadgets to get the job done. There is not much research on how these teams are
formed or how they work together to accomplish their organizational tasks while making sure
that they overcome all the obstacles and stay resilient. Our study will focus on team dynamics
and their resilience and we are going to use cross-sectional, quantitative and explanatory working
format for examining anatomically alike and best performing virtual groups. Our research aims
to show how team members of work teams use these practices that promote group work and
coordination.
The data collection for this study was conducted through questionnaire-based survey forms that
were distributed online and in person to 300 people. The participants of the survey belong to the
IT industry of Pakistan including software developers, web developers/designers, graphic
designers, and digital marketers.
