| dc.description.abstract | Employing Social learning theory, this study will investigate the relationship between transformational leadership and work engagement directly and via intrinsic motivation. Transformational leadership is defined by leaders who inspire and drive their followers to reach their maximum potential. They frequently exhibit charismatic qualities, offer support and encouragement, and promote a common vision. profession engagement refers to an individual's level of excitement, dedication, and absorption in their profession. The data was collected from service sector in Pakistan. This sector typically involves industries such as hospitality, retail, healthcare, and customer service. The data collection process involved surveys, to gather information on employees' perceptions of transformational leadership and their level of work engagement. The results show that transformational leadership is positively and significantly related to work engagement and intrinsic motivation mediates between intrinsic motivation and work engagement.
