Table Reservation Final Year Project – Final Report

Abstract

Table reservation will be the app to reserve tables for dinners, parties, and events along with managing food orderings. It acts like a scheduled booking of a restaurant’s table where you can choose the type of table, food menu for your meal. The target problem of the project is to save customers time. Now a day, customers wait for ordering staff on the table or make long queues before placing their orders especially during peak hours, and then the ordering staff records their orders. Having placed the order, the customer then has to wait near the counter/table until their order is ready to be collected or to be served. Restaurant owners are less aware of the efficiency that an application can bring to their business by saving customers time. The purpose of the project is to provide online table reservations, food ordering, and getting food ready to the table to save time
