| dc.description.abstract | In every Outsourced project proper communication plays a vital role, through proper communication between a vendor and client there is no gap of misunderstanding and ultimately helps in the project success. When there are no proper strategies planned out for communication in outsourced projects, then there would be a high risk of failure, waste of time and cost. It is important for both vendor and client to clearly lay out every useful information for carrying out the project successfully and also to enhance the trust and minimizing the cultural difference and defects can be prevented. The aim of this research is to increase the understanding of how agile practices can be used to improve communication between client and vendors involved in outsourced IT software project development. The emphases is on the positive impacts that the implementation of the practices will have on the project success and to see the mediating effect of communication channel and effective communication on the relation between agile practices and project success. Using the vast literature available in the field of agile practices we have shown how agile practices could be used to enhance better communication in a software development project and how it affects the project outcome. The questionnaire scale is adopted from prior studies done related to our study and then we received responses from the project managers, senior software engineer ,software engineer, interne, that are involved in the IT outsourced projects development in Pakistan software houses to get the true and valid outcomes. Then the sobel test, regression analysis, correlation test are performed through SPSS. The results reveals that how after using agile practices during the development of IT software development projects it decreases the communication gap between the vendor and client, through appropriate communication channels, preventing defects, minimizing cultural difference, visibility and documentation and the outcome of the project changes into success. The final conclusion and recommendations will be indicated after the analysis and further research areas and implication of the survey will also be spotlighted. Future recommendations and restrictions based on the self-analysis will also be offered for further research areas suggestions for future study. | |
