Abstract

In the early 20th century, the impulse to develop the humanoid machine [1] was initiated. We can find the foundation of the concept of robots since the ancient days. Before the world advanced towards the automation of the machine, the main focus of the humans was to develop such machines that would help the humans in industrial aspects. After the revolution in industries throughout the world, there was a certain urge to build complex systems that would help humans in day to day life. In 21st century the world advanced towards the modernization, and now the humans can envisage the human-like robots that will have the capabilities just like humans and can have a conscious mind. Our motives are to build such a machine that will help humans to ease out the task they execute in their offices so that they can do their work more efficiently. Office Delivery Robot is an autonomous robot that will carry out the same defined task that an office delivery boy does. The robot will work in a fixed pre-defined environment while it will overcome diverse hurdles that may come up during its performance. The specific task will be assigned to the robot and it will be aware of its surroundings, like where it is now and then it will compute the path to go to the destination. We will be assuming that every door is open so that the robot will move to the destination with more convenience.
