E-Care: An Innovative Elderly Care System to Assist Caregivers.

Abstract

Elderly people need care and comfort to live a healthy life without worries. Understanding their needs and concerns by their caregivers will ensure their good health. But today, providing care and attention to elders is not possible due to work priorities. So, there is a need for a platform that can help in taking care of elders even if you far from them. Our application helps consumers by monitoring and tracking the health of elders from anywhere in the world. Our application provides the facility of reminders, health analytics, nearby pharmacy, chat circle, booking appointments, prescriptions, tracking location and some valuable notifications. Our app helps elders by allowing their caregiver's facility to add reminders, add health data’s and book appointments for them from doctors. So even caregivers are far from their elders they can still take care of them through our platform. Location tracking both online and offline helps caregivers to easily find their elders during emergency. Our application provides quick and easy access to doctors by including them in care circle. Doctors can review elder’s health and prescribe them accordingly. Also, elder and their caregiver can consult with doctors through chat facility of application without being restrained by space or time.
