| dc.description.abstract | The Unified Model Language (UML) class diagram is a compact and useful way to visualize and describe software system architecture. A version management system that is based in UML or supports it is very crucial these days so as to assist in teamwork. Such type of systems possess the ability to calculate and present differences to a developer which in turn helps in understanding and analyzing a system. We are developing a reverse engineering tool called Soft-Arc that transforms Java, and C# source code into UML class diagram. Soft-Arc pre-processes user uploaded files and filter outs all the redundant information from the files. After pre-processing, it scans all the files one by one, extracting all the relevant information required to construct a UML class diagram. | |
