Clap your hands and the lights turn on. Switch off the alarm and the water is already heated at your preferable temperature for a morning shower. Meanwhile, the coffee maker automatically starts brewing. You have a busy routine; and you sit for long on the desk, your smart watch reminds you to take a walk periodically. It counts your calorie intake, monitors your activity and makes sure that you remain active and healthy. Oh you forgot to lock your home or shut a window; no worries. A mere click on your phone locks your home and informs you that everything is absolutely fine. On your way back home, your car suggests you the best route with minimum traffic and smoothest road. On arriving home, you are welcomed with just the perfect room temperature. As you step in, the lights turn on saving you from the extra bill. This is no fantasy. This is not imagination. It is the “Internet of things”!
