| dc.description.abstract | People lose their children and elderly and face a lot of difficulty in process of finding them as the police department works very slowly in Pakistan. It takes almost a complete day in police station to register a FIR and then it’s up to police whether they immediately start searching or not. But every minute counts for the victim’s family. According to a report 3090 children were reported missing in Karachi within a year. Similarly, in 2016 312 from Lahore alone and 652 children from all of Punjab went missing. Mostly the cases are reported to police but the search by the police runs at a snail’s pace. In order to speed up the process of searching of missing person we have developed an application which helps families to reunite with their lost ones as soon as possible. Through this platform people can help each other in parallel with the search that police should make. | |
