Smart Learning Advanced Tools for Education (SLATE) in Math up to Grade 2 for Android

Abstract

The aim of this project is to teach the basics of mathematics to the children up to grade 2 by using interactive graphical animated interface. Examples from the real world are used to clear the concept of counting and mathematics basics like addition, subtraction, division and multiplication. To attract children, interesting and interactive activities are included to check the skills and learning of the child. Interface is developed in such a friendly manner that the interest of the children remain throughout their learning. The application is developed on Android platform and will be supported by many android supported smart phones and tablets.
