Abstract
The most important element that has transformed the way people do their task and live their
life is Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). It has taken over this world like a
storm and it is being applied in every field such as education, hospitals, organizations, etc.
Today, ICT has been adopted by a number of companies in order to perform the operations in the
most effective way. In the past decade, it has been observed that companies have integrated ICT
in their supply chain management and logistics functions that have made the operations smoother
and accurate.
