    I have completed my 6 weeks’ internship at hum news. I wrote the swot analysis of the company, reflective journal, training program and acknowledgement. I have learned and experience reporting, NLE and assignment of the news report. Hum news is the Pakistan's biggest news source that provides fast and accurate news reports on a variety of subjects, including politics as a whole current events, business, athletics, and others. Hum News works hard to deliver factual and objective news reporting to its audience with a committed team of journalists and reporters. In order to keep viewers informed, the network also offers analysis from experts, interviews, and unique content. It is renowned for its deep examinations of recent developments, wide reporting, and timely alerts. The channel attempts to keep viewers up to date on the most recent events in Pakistan and elsewhere in the world. Hum News is a reliable provider of information with a crew of experienced reporters and cutting-edge technologies, and it works hard to uphold journalistic ethics. Hum News makes its readers aware and interested in everything from politics to societal concerns. it provides round-the-clock coverage of the news that keeps you informed on the most recent worldwide, regional, and local events. Hum News offers you a diverse spectrum of viewpoints on the economy, politics, and social problems, from current affairs to deep dives. Talk shows, films, and special programmes are also available on the channel and cover a range of interesting subjects. Hum News is dedicated to producing high-quality journalism and aims to provide its audience with reliable and unbiased reporting. It has following departments: • Sub-Editing Department • Nonlinear Editing Department • Copywriting Department • Reporting Department • Technical Department This organization has taught me a substantial amount of expertise and skills, and the practical application of those abilities has given me sufficient experience that allowed me to accomplish the goals I had for it. Since anchoring and becoming a journalist are my main interests.

    Interlink Advertising Agency

    I write the summary of the report on the bases of internship and the activities, tasks and projects that I completed during my six-week internship. Interlink is a complete -service advertising agency that deals with brand building through personalized 360-degree communication solutions. I worked in all departments of agency to gain experience more and had to know how all department works and connection between them in agency. My future goal is advertising I want to work in advertising agency in future. It was necessary to work in advertising agency to gain experience about advertising. As an intern at Interlink Advertising Agency, I had the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of tasks and projects. From conducting market research to brainstorming creative ideas, my time at the agency was filled with valuable learning experiences. Firstly, I worked in the creative department to improve my writing skill. After that I worked in customer service I learned how this department to make connection between clients and agency. I worked in media department to know role media department in agency and then in the art department to learn skills like Photoshop, illustrator and content design. I worked in the digital department to learn the role of platforms like Facebook and Instagram in advertising agency. I worked in the production department to learn all types of production in advertising agency. I worked on a variety of projects, including coming up with slogans for SNGPL, FESCO, and the 14th August campaign. I was able to acquire all the skills I would need to pursue a career in advertising. In order to understand target audiences better, I worked on compiling data and examining consumer trends. We were able to create successful marketing strategies that connected with the target markets of our clients by having a thorough understanding of consumer preferences, behaviors, and needs. I also got the opportunity to help with the analysis of competitors. This required researching the methods and approaches that the rival businesses of our clients employed to spot openings and obtain an advantage over them. We created unique selling propositions that differentiate our clients in the market by examining the advantages and disadvantages of our clients' rivals. My internship also included some exciting brainstorming sessions. I got to work with the creative team to come up with creative concepts for marketing campaigns. We discussed various strategies to engage the target audience and bounced ideas off each other during these lively and creative sessions. Seeing how a straightforward concept could develop into a potent marketing strategy was incredibly motivating. My other task involved creating content for social media platforms. This required creating interesting and captivating content that spoke to the target audiences and complemented the brand identities of our clients. I discovered the value of visual communication and storytelling in grabbing social media users' attention, from creating captivating captions to creating eye-catching graphics. I helped the team with report and presentation preparation in addition to these duties. This required gathering information, arranging it, and designing eye-catching slides so that clients and stakeholders could understand our plans and outcomes. It was a fantastic chance for me to improve my presentation abilities and discover how to communicate ideas succinctly. Another enjoyable aspect of my internship was going to client meetings. I got to see how the agency dealt with clients, learn about their goals and needs, and participate in conversations. Observing how the agency developed trusting relationships with clients and collaborated to meet their marketing objectives was a valuable experience. Overall, I had a variety of responsibilities and growth opportunities during my time at Interlink Advertising Agency. I acquired useful abilities in content creation, creative thinking, market research, and client communication. It was an enriching experience that deepened my understanding of the advertising industry and prepared me for future endeavors in the field.

    Star Walk -Step into your star

    The main focus of this project is to make students able to do a new start-up; after all struggles whole searching for a brand till end of display we somehow become able to create our own entrepreneurial setup. The exposure to market and the research analysis show that all we need is something unique and out of the box in order to make a strong position in the competitive market. The main objective of this final year project is to create something creative to attract target audience. Every product success depend on the need of its target audience if we understand what our audience want we can easily create something that fulfil their need which in return increase our sales. In this regard we start our journey with pre launch research survey to understand the need of target audience. The zodiac-themed footwear start with the observation that young generation are more likely to inspire by the charm of their stars and have pretty much believe in astrology. Based on this observation, we developed the idea of launching a product featuring star elements to attract the younger generation. Star Walk is a zodiac-themed footwear line that provides a unique way to stand out. Each design incorporates the sign of a zodiac star, making the footwear as unique as the personality of its wearer. This final year project also includes a SWOT analysis and competitive analysis to identify market gaps, leveraging our strengths to address these gaps and gain a competitive advantage. The project also highlights various marketing strategies, emphasizing how different social media platforms are utilized to build brand awareness. With the help of boosted ads and Meta posts, it becomes easier to reach the target audience effectively. As we are new in market and we don’t have a handsome budget so we go with the online platforms in order to reach our target audience. In today’s era social media is much stronger and offer advertisement facility through boost post in limited budget

    This report gives an overview of my six-week internship at Marshmallow Advertising Agency in Lahore, a full-service agency that works with international clients. My time at Marshmallow was a valuable learning experience. In this report, I will share what I learned and experienced during these six weeks. The report includes a detailed overview of Marshmallow, the company’s structure, the internship schedule, acknowledgements, and the training I received. I spend the first week observing and understanding all that goes on department. After observation, I closely worked with social media executive Mr. Muzzamil who helped me to understand the basics on how to create a content calendar for any organization or product launch. After this, I made a content calendar of Iffat Anwar Medical Complex. After that I learn how to pitch a client. In this I learnt different tactics like how to present, conduct SWOT Analysis and how to analyse your competitors which help you in pitching your client. In addition, the report contains reflective journals, a SWOT analysis, and an overview of Marshmallow’s in-house production process. The reflective journal includes my daily tasks and routine. I also discussed the company’s core values, goals, vision, competitors, and introduced the production department. During my internship, I gained a solid understanding of the production process and was able to apply the knowledge I had gained from my studies to real-world media industry situations. To enhance the report, I have included samples of my work at the end and added recommendations to help avoid challenges in the future

    Paigham TV

    This report presents an overview of my internship experience as an Assistant Producer at Paigham TV, a notable Islamic educational television network that broadcasts in Urdu and Pashto. Paigham TV was launched in 2011 with the assistance of Imam Kaaba Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al Sudais with the prime objective of conveying the message of Islam to people of the world with bias for any particular religion. Its programming includes religious education and Issues related to the union of Muslims; The channel is available in more than sixty-five countries and recently introduced Paigham TV UK. During my internship I took part in organization of elements involved in the production stage. Some of the foremost duties I performed in the position were handling cameras during live and recorded transmission and making sure programs had good video quality. I also performed outlines of panel handling, which involved supervising transition and feeds for continuous broadcasting. Setting up of lights was another area of my activity during the filming; I was changing the studio and external lighting to the best conditions possible. Beside these achievement, I was responsible for the voice overs in several programs that involved audio modulation as well as script analyzing and reading. I also did video editing where I compiled a video, fix it with the relevant software, include necessary graphics and then make sure that the final video was up to the standards of the channel. I consider that through this internship I had collected full knowledge of television production practices within the religious broadcasting environment. I managed to my technical skills in operating cameras, arranging the lights, controlling the panels, as well as my voice over, and editing videos.

    This report is about internship program in Pakistan Television Corporation starting from 23-07-2024 to 23-09-2024. This internship provide me an overview of how our media industry works. This report provides summary of what is my experience, and how it will groom my personality for future profession. I worked in newsroom for one month and in current affairs for next month. In first week I observed each and everything and learned how things were being done with great care. In next week I practice new stories, package scripts, Urdu typing practice in newsroom. I used to go with coverage team for as-live on weather coverage and practiced as-live. They also provided me editing knowledge and insights about the process how they on air the news in master control room. In this time period, I also learned news editing and filing software NIMS like how to file a news (slug, template, source, time, status, action,) while writing a story and how it interlinked with all branches of PTV. In 2nd month of internship I worked in current affair department. In this time I worked at different programs shooting including SMART WORLD, RABI-UL-AWAL Special program from 1st Rabi-ul-Awal to 12th, WEEKEND SPECIAL, THE SOCIETY, SAMAAJ SUDHAR, and SOCH VICHAR. In this time I focused on things like usage of proper light to enhance the image quality. In my view, I really liked the working style of organization the smooth working of preproduction, production and postproduction. The knowledge that I learned from this internship is really valuable for me and it will help me to fulfil my objectives.

    PTV Multan (July 29th 2024 - September 7th, 2024) in this report i have write down about my internship period and mention the things i have learned through my internship. This experience will help me in future as well. I got training in the news and the production department the news department worked 24/7. I learned about the department's inner workings, activities, and importance within the organization. During my internship, I observed news production, report creation, and employee responsibilities. Learned news writing, reporting, anchoring, and scriptwriting techniques. Gained hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere for editing. Developed voiceover skills and understanding of media programs. Participated in news reading and anchoring. My internship provided Practical understanding of professional media practices. Appreciation for smooth channel management and its motto projecting Pakistan's positive image. Enhanced skills in reporting, anchoring, script writing, and editing. I successfully created a package on the plantation campaign which was broadcasted on PTV and PTV Multan. This internship exceeded my expectations, providing comprehensive knowledge and practical experience. I developed essential skills, built confidence, and gained industry insights, paving the way for a successful media career

    Discover Pakistan

    This report is a detailed document of my six weeks' internship tenure that I completed in the News Department of Discover Pakistan starting from 8th July, 2024 to 15th August, 2024. The report elucidates all my learnings, experiences, and the tasks or activities assigned to me that I performed throughout the span. Moreover, this report also provides a brief overview of the organization; it's history, it's purpose, motto and vision, the structural hierarchy, the departments, the offices, competitors and pretty much everything about Discover Pakistan. Also, this report will also include SWOT analysis and recommendations for the organization. I primarily worked in the News Department, however, I regularly visited some of the other departments including Digital Department and Creative Departments for the follow up of my tasks. During the first two weeks, I mostly did script writing and field reporting. I went to different sites including Liberty Chowk, Hafeez Centre and Amanah Mall to take voxpops of the people on the topics of my report which were later posted on Social Media page of Discover Pakistan. I was also assigned the task to be a part of promo shoot for the 8th mango festival arranged by Discover Pakistan in association with Agri-Tourism Development Corporation at Lahore Organic Village. Also, wrote a blog that was published in Pakistan Today which was basically a satirical article on politics of Pakistan. The rest 4 weeks were spent in the News Studio. I was trained as News internee for News casting under the supervision of senior news anchor, Mr. Haider Awan. Spent most of the time in practicing reading News from the teleprompter and also got auditioned for news casting, which was later approved and I got a job offer later by the same organization on the basis of that. The knowledge I gained and the skills I developed during my internship tenure added much value to my practical skills. I not only polished my previously existing writing and reporting skills, but also got to discover new skills and opportunities of anchoring which has been a huge milestone for me. Overall, the experience at Discover Pakistan was one of a kind and I'm pleased to learn so much from this organization.
