Industrial revolution, with the inception of pollution of our environment for all life forms and species, and also the built space. Its causes and effects go proportional to one another and creates a loop covering many fields of science from geography to renewable energy. Lahore with its accelerating development in infrastructure and industries, and outward growth where many forests and farms have been wiped out, leaves less green areas to counter those built structure which consumes energy and destroyed our environment. This can be seen in the last few years as the case of smog occurred more prolonged and frequent. Tree or plant is the basic element which are purifying our environment. Therefore there is important to educate the public about the importance of greenery through experiential and ritual association. The term nature or greenery is very vast term therefore, this project specifically focusing on two parts of plantation one is Indoor plants Museum and second Outdoor trees Museum. Indoor museum base upon indoor architectural space where we cannot plant a tree which purpose have to didactic the user, how green strategies can be used in architectural spaces to accommodate the indoor plants and major focus on air purifying indoor plants. And Outdoor Museum based upon the indigenous trees with poetic depiction of experiential outdoor space with indigenous tree by using the folk stories, mythologies and poetry. Tradition and modernity plays a vital role in portraying the identity of any place. In our country, the cities like Lahore we have our traditional architecture and a bit of modernity as well. This shows that we accept our traditions but we also want to improve and go with the contemporary elements in architecture of the world. We want our self to be progressive and modernize at the same time we present our national pride and culture as well. Nationalistic aspect further deals with the relation of form and identity that every country have its own culture and norms, even sports have the important part of any country and culture, and that sports shows the culture of that area. The most common diseases are mood and personality disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder. There is no community center which provides basic facilities before the problem get severe. People treat mental illness as taboo in society. If you have mental illness and end up in the mental hospital it’s never the same again. You are labeled abnormal for life. When mentally ill sent into one isolated environment called mental asylum creates a taboo for life, never allowing them to get back to normal life. Understanding the physical and psychological effects of architecture on a person with mental disorder is an important tool that can enhance the behavior of individual and the ability to function to improve their quality of life. Architecture used as healing environment to create and add up the usual treatment that psychiatric patients required. Therapies can provide opportunities and encouragement for social and vocational activities in daily life that can direct the patient’s progress toward the goal of normal life. Space affects on the body and body responds to space in terms of perception is use for the design of center. The concept of deinstitutionalization is use to treat psychiatric patients, and architecture help them relate more to the surrounding, and give freedom within the spaces. These people have their own way of life in rural areas which is way more different to the life of urban population. Their life and environment is free of pollution. There is rich agriculture land, rapid population growth and economic changes in contemporary situation of Lahore. In our society, most of the people belong to the villages therefore living style is same but now in the current situation of Pakistan, everyone’s desire is to move to the city due to business, education of children’s or searching a job. The reason for moving towards cities depend upon the various situations and condition of individual person but generally if we analyses these conditions we came to know that it revolves around the need of employment. It further relates with economic reasons, such as urge to have good quality of housing and living style, the betterment of the future of one’s family and environment, these are also the other common reasons for relocating from a rural to an urban area. Employment and education is also a large factor in a person’s mind when he migrates towards the cities because urban areas provide greater number of opportunities and platforms to avail these facilities. The higher education set up and the medical infrastructure and services are in terrible condition. Therefore the institutional arrangements for quality education and other medical services cannot fulfill the demands to meet the present challenges, resulting in low self-esteem, depression and anxiety and other medical issues. The people have to dependent on other provinces which cause different social and economical issues. It is necessary to improve and need to understand the problems by focusing on medical and educational issues of the region and their historical perspective, environmental sustainability and physical atmosphere of the region. These mentioned aspects are based on medical problems and services, educational issues and its facilities, the living patterns and local context of the region, economical and environmental concerns related to that area. Focusing on these issues can play a vital role in the prosperity of the region.
