    SYMBIOTIC COAST

Life on our planet is dependent on water. Oceans provide 70 percent of our oxygen needs. Problems like increasing sea levels, which are brought on by climate change circumstances, harm species instincts and the world's natural habitats for eco systems. But, when we discuss taking the eco system into account, we just take into account humans, trees, and birds; we never discuss the eco system that is under the ocean. The largest natural ecosystem of marine life is comprised of coral reefs and mangroves, both of which we are continuously destroying. From Karachi to Gwadar, Pakistan's coast stretches for a considerable distance. Pakistan also has one of the largest marine ecosystems in the world. Yet, Pakistan is also among the top nations that are on high alert for coral bleaching due to sea level rise and global warming. The WWF has been successful in designating the coral reef locations as restricted areas during the past few years. Which are being examined for conversion into marine parks in order to address the issue of coral breaches and raise awareness of the value of the marine ecosystem. Yet, the important issue is how to proceed and how it will be done. 7 In order to give specialists a platform to better understand aquatic conditions, it is proposed to establish a marine research Centre with public involvement. Also, it serves as a location where members of the public can visit and learn about the significance of underwater life. Which would make people think on this issue and appreciate the value of aquatic life. And how to address the issue of this sea level rise, which puts our coastal way of life in peril. By doing this, it will close the gap between the two persons and help them understand the repercussions. The young generation will have the chance to learn about the significance of climate change thanks to this architectural intervention, which will also give WWF and the Pakistani Marine Conservation Society a pragmatic location.
