Diverse channels, media gatherings, specialists, predict results as indicated by their own examination and information. Social media specially twitter has rich information that can be used to predict the outcome as well. For this situation, we are utilizing twitter information and data to predict election results. The country has witnessed a massive increase in e-commerce businesses in the past few years. Most of products are moved to online stores .People prefer to buy things by just having few clicks rather than going market and searching for desire product. We are motivated to capture this trend. Our project is online bouquet store with an extra feature of customize bouquet, where user can design his/her own bouquet by selecting flower options given on page. We will make sending fresh flowers easy, whether you want to send to a friend or a relative across the country. You can browse our website and order online or to place your order. User can create custom gift baskets for special occasions. User can get register simply adding his/her information, bouquets of different kinds will appear in options, selecting his/her bouquet he/she can select size of bouquet and customize the bouquet according his/her wish. After Selecting bouquet user can also add special gifts and can get customize gift basket according to wish. After that, user can also add special message with the bouquet. Last step will be sender’s address and delivery address and after that bill will appear on the screen.Item Q-Studio High performance Computing Service to Simulate Quantum Computations(Library Information Services, COMSATS University, Lahore Campus, 2019-06-19) Waleed Naeem , Yousaf Chudhry,; FA15-BSE-145 , FA15-BSE-148; Dr Husanain CH; LHR TP 5848Quantum calculation will no longer be a distant dream. We are observing the birth of a technological revolution that will reform our society in which quantum computing is fundamental. A number of large companies, such as Google, IBM, Microsoft and D-Wave, are developing quantum computers. These companies motivate us to start a research project with our main goal of building a high performance platform to simulate quantum calculations. Q-Studio is a platform that will provide the service for the simulation of quantum calculations in classical computers. This will be done using high-speed quantum processing and quantum circuit simulations. But prices of commercially available food items always remain on the higher side which serve a big challenge to the public. The objective of our project is to provide an android application through which food seekers can find online food-buddies with whom they can share the price of the food. In a nutshell, the proposed application will make its users take advantage of food-pooling and help grow their social circle. The application is particularly aimed at students and those having low financial profile.Item Learning of Perceptual Semantics in Cognitive Robots through Social Interaction(Library Information Services, COMSATS University, Lahore Campus, 2019-06-19) Muhammad Awais , Nouman Nasir , Saud Junaid,; SP15-BCS-145 , SP15-BCS-088 , SP15-BCS-005; Dr Wajahat Mahmood Qazi; LHR TP 5850There is a growing interest to develop cognitive virtual agents. In virtual environment, these agents are not only resembled to humans but also exhibit human-like behavior. Learning of these agents are quite different than the ways through which humans acquire knowledge [1]. Most agents collect data from users and the environment and then implements efficient algorithms on collected data to infer knowledge [2]. In this methodology, a model is trained and the trainer provides on-demand information to model through learning process. Trained model is used as a perceptual semantic capability of an agent. Machine learning differs from human learning because it requires an active social partner in learning environment. In virtual environment, an agent is able to interact with environmental objects and gather knowledge to differ between various objects. A trained model is able to simulate previously learned knowledge with current perspective [1]. For this purpose, a model is trained and used with middleware. Graph database is used to store semantics data with a set of training examples to infer cognition for knowledge representation. Whenever a robot will face an object, it will perform detection by perceiving it and recognition by semantic knowledge.Item Integrated Transport System(Library Information Services, COMSATS University, Lahore Campus, 2019-06-19) Ahsan Waseem , Sarmad Javed Khan,; FA15-BCS-009 , FA15-BCS-114; Mr. Muhammad AdnanNowadays, everything is automated and easy to be accessed through smartphones and personal computers. The developed countries have achieved a lot in this regard but Pakistan is still lagging a little behind. In Pakistan, there isn't any efficient online service that provides access to all means of available public transport. There are some apps/websites that provide such information but they cover only a single/specific type of transport service. Therefore, most of the times people don't know all the available suitable options of transport from a particular point to a destination and hence end up wasting their time and money. We decided to overcome this problem as much as we could and came up with a solution in the form of an integrated platform that will allow every user to explore their proper transport options with respect to their current location. This application will provide all the information about possible means of transport i.e. Buses, Railways and Airlines. User will be able to compare the fares and services of all transport services, view all the schedules and reserve/book seat(s) in the selected transport, without hassle. In addition, the user will also be able to track Real-time location of vehicles.Item Vision Based Rehabilitation and Information System for Patients(Library Information Services, COMSATS University, Lahore Campus, 2019-06-19) Syyam Noor, Muhammad Hasham; FA15-BCS-127 , FA15-BCS-058; Dr. Allah Bux Sargano; LHR TP 5898The system is an action verification system for rehabilitation of patients with limited mobility. In this regard, a Kinect depth sensor is used to capture the image-sequences of patients for identification of different actions in real time during rehabilitation exercisers at home. The system is trained to make decisions whether the person is performing the rehabilitation exercises correctly or not, each exercise contain some passing parameters, and this is to ensure that all the exercises are done in a complete and perfect manner. A desktop based application is designed for user’s interaction. This application contains a list of exercises available, the user will have an option to choose any of them according to the need. Physiotherapists using this system at their clinics will be hugely benefitted with this, it will act as their personal application based assistant for mobility exercises. Especially, the report generation feature will help them in tracking the patient’s progress. The report can be generated at any given time while doing an exercise that will brief the user about the angles and distances between the joints and what is the ideal one. The main ambition behind making this rehabilitation system is to recover pre-injury stages in all phases of physical fitness. The equipment required by the system are economical ones to help those patients who genuinely need this system which everyone can set up at their own places. This would allow patients to perform the rehabilitation exercises in sitting position at their relaxing place while preventing patients from falling down during training. The proposed system is 100% real-time (gives results on run time), effective to vision-based action identification, and demands low-cost system requirement (hardware and software), which is affordable for almost everyone.Item Smart Tenant System(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2024) FURQAN ALI BUTT; FA19-BSE-002; ZAHEER A. GONDALWith the advent of the Internet, a lot of life trends are changing. The internet has a profound impact on many aspects of our lives, from how we communicate and socialize to how we work and learn. The proposed project is an online website that act as a platform which connects room owner and tenants. Being a citizen of Pakistan I have a brief idea of how much our citizens needs an online platform to find rooms as they prefer specially students and people that travel to other cities. This website will act as bridge between both and hence providing the users with better room options and thus saving time and burden.Item Gather Genie(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2024) Syed Arslan Ali Shah Bokhari (SP20- BSE-108); Muhammad Mateen Saleem (SP20- BSE-061); M. Junaid AnjumMany people faced difficulties while making arrangements for their events. Events such as marriages, birthday parties, engagement ceremonies, seminars, Festivals, Conferences, etc. It is very difficult for everyone to find all the necessary services from one vendor. They have to arrange these services from different vendors as they have to contact different vendors for catering services, booking a marriage hall or outdoor location, photography services, décor services, and event organizers. This is a big problem as arranging these things is very hectic. To solve this problem, we are developing a Gather Genie application that will provide all these services under one umbrella. Using our website, users can organize their weddings or any kind of event, such as birthday parties, ceremonies, seminars, festivals, and conferences. They can access multiple services like marriage hall booking, outdoor locations, catering services, photographers, décor services, and event organizer services. Users can appoint event organizers for their events and hire their services. There are some web applications which are offering these services but there is no live chat available on these websites so we are adding live chat and payment options which will be very helpful to people. Our platform makes it easy for users to arrange all the necessary services for their events from one website. Previously people faced minor difficulties like arranging a car for their wedding, hiring photography services, and décor services. So, Gather Genie provides these minor services like Car rental and Invitation cards also. Online platforms support so many of our daily activities that we have become dependent on them in our personal and professional lives. We rely on them to buy and sell goods and services, to find information online, and to keep in touch with each other. We use them for entertainment, news, transportation, accommodation, finding jobs and employees, finding apps, and many other purposes. [1] Therefore, as a result several industries has proposed and provided a solution to their services digitally, for instance, ordering food, or sale purchase of products. This problem has been addressed internationally where several IT solutions have been proposed and exist. However, there are very less IT efforts that have been reported and addressed for Pakistan. Pakistan which consists of around 241.49 million [2] population and is increasing rapidly. Providing the physical solution for such an increasing population is a time-consuming, laborious, and thus expansive task. Therefore, this Final Year Project (FYP) proposes and presents the online solution (thereafter Work Whiz) of several services using the web and with the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The primary objective of FYP is to create a comprehensive as well as user-friendly website and mobile application with the integration of AI features to facilitate users. Users will be provided with several services (for instance, plumbing, home repair, car maintenance, etc.), book appointments, request quotations, see reviews, and post tasks including real-time tracking of service providers, notifications, and in-app messaging. Furthermore, service providers can add further services, view detailed profiles of service providers, and read reviews and ratings from previous customers. Moreover, the users will also have the facility to give reviews which our AI-based integrated module automatically analyses and recommends to the users.
