This is the project of Sulfur Recovery Unit (SRU). Many processes are utilized for the desulfurization of acid gas to recover elemental sulfur but here we are more interested in Claus Process because of its efficiency and economy. The plant's efficiency and economy both are favorable conditions for the selection of the process. The purpose is to design a plant which produces 60 tons of elemental sulfur per day. The report includes the introduction of sulfur, production and processes, various processes used to recover sulfur, mass and energy balances over this particular recovery unit, design of all the equipment's, instrumentation, cost estimation, and safety of the plant. In short, this project is unique, crucial and very much important for educating current or future engineers because it focuses at the futuristic improvements to the Claus Process used to recover the elemental sulfur.

(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2024) Syed Arslan Ali Shah Bokhari (SP20- BSE-108); Muhammad Mateen Saleem (SP20- BSE-061); M. Junaid Anjum
Many people faced difficulties while making arrangements for their events. Events such as marriages, birthday parties, engagement ceremonies, seminars, Festivals, Conferences, etc. It is very difficult for everyone to find all the necessary services from one vendor. They have to arrange these services from different vendors as they have to contact different vendors for catering services, booking a marriage hall or outdoor location, photography services, décor services, and event organizers. This is a big problem as arranging these things is very hectic. To solve this problem, we are developing a Gather Genie application that will provide all these services under one umbrella. Using our website, users can organize their weddings or any kind of event, such as birthday parties, ceremonies, seminars, festivals, and conferences. They can access multiple services like marriage hall booking, outdoor locations, catering services, photographers, décor services, and event organizer services. Users can appoint event organizers for their events and hire their services. There are some web applications which are offering these services but there is no live chat available on these websites so we are adding live chat and payment options which will be very helpful to people. Our platform makes it easy for users to arrange all the necessary services for their events from one website. Previously people faced minor difficulties like arranging a car for their wedding, hiring photography services, and décor services. So, Gather Genie provides these minor services like Car rental and Invitation cards also. So, the solution to all these problems is Gather Genie through which people arrange all the necessary services for their events very easily and efficiently and most importantly from one website

With the increase of digital online services over the web, the demand for efficient/effective and convenient digital solutions to everyday problem is on increase. Online platforms support so many of our daily activities that we have become dependent on them in our personal and professional lives. We rely on them to buy and sell goods and services, to find information online, and to keep in touch with each other. We use them for entertainment, news, transportation, accommodation, finding jobs and employees, finding apps, and many other purposes. [1] Therefore, as a result several industries has proposed and provided a solution to their services digitally, for instance, ordering food, or sale purchase of products. This problem has been addressed internationally where several IT solutions have been proposed and exist. However, there are very less IT efforts that have been reported and addressed for Pakistan. Pakistan which consists of around 241.49 million [2] population and is increasing rapidly. Providing the physical solution for such an increasing population is a time-consuming, laborious, and thus expansive task. Therefore, this Final Year Project (FYP) proposes and presents the online solution (thereafter Work Whiz) of several services using the web and with the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The primary objective of FYP is to create a comprehensive as well as user-friendly website and mobile application with the integration of AI features to facilitate users. Users will be provided with several services (for instance, plumbing, home repair, car maintenance, etc.), book appointments, request quotations, see reviews, and post tasks including real-time tracking of service providers, notifications, and in-app messaging. Furthermore, service providers can add further services, view detailed profiles of service providers, and read reviews and ratings from previous customers. Moreover, the users will also have the facility to give reviews which our AI-based integrated module automatically analyses and recommends to the users.

In Pakistan, there exists a pervasive challenge: the unavailability of a system that caters to the short-term needs of individuals for various products and items. Often, people are compelled to make full purchases even when they require these items for only a few hours or days. To address this issue, we propose a localized software application designed to connect people across Pakistan for the seamless borrowing and lending of products within the community. The concept of the application is simple. Instead of purchasing items for short time, users can connect with their Pakistani fellows who can share or lend their products or things. This idea works especially well in Pakistan because of the country's diverse economy and the need for affordable solutions. People can make money from items they don't actually use much, like electronics, tools, or household appliances, by renting them at reasonable prices. This helps promote sustainable use and gives many Pakistanis an extra source of income. Our main goal is to create a community in Pakistan that values sharing resources, cares about sustainability, and wants to improve their finances. By promoting sharing and efficient use of resources, this project can help the environment and boost people's financial well-being across the country

    Skin Disease Identification Project
(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2024) Huzaifa Imran (FA20- BSE-008); Rafia Sajid (FA20- BSE-013); Mohammad Ibrahim (FA20- BSE-077); Prof Shahid Bhatti
The Skin Disease Identification Project aims to develop an advanced system using Machine Learning to build a user-friendly prototype of a system that with a simple picture can identify skin diseases in machine learning. This will be taken from a cross platform mobile application identifying a variety of skin diseases with a wide range of conditions, including dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema, acne, and various infections. Diagnosis often requires a time-consuming process of visual examination, medical history review, and lab tests. The proposed system will utilize a vast dataset of dermatological approved and annotated images to train deep learning models that can effectively recognize and classify skin diseases based on color features and decomposed skin image and its melanin levels. The primary goal of this project is to enhance the accuracy or efficiency of skin disease diagnosis. By employing state-of-the-art image recognition and pattern analysis algorithms, the system will be able to rapidly process skin images and provide instant disease identification. This will serve as the basis for helping dermatologists with effective and instant diagnosis, therefore, saving time and reducing the delay in the diagnosis. The system will first identify the features of the images and then train the model based on it using various algorithms mentioned below which after a popular vote will determine the best match of the identification of the project. In conclusion, the Skin Disease Identification Project strives to revolutionize skin disease diagnosis through cutting-edge AI technology. By automating the identification process and providing instantaneous results, this project promises to be a valuable tool for dermatologists and serves as a prototype for more reliable feedback. Figure 1 illustrates the abstract idea.
