To overcome this issue E-diary introduced. This application not only be easy to use but also multi-purpose and multi-functional. People now able to read news, see weather forecast, schedule their events just one application and by one click.Item Smart Parking System(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus., 2022-11-20) Usama Jamil; SP18-BCS-049; Muhammad FarhanTraffic congestion, time consuming search for a vacant parking space and insecure parking is a major outcome of growing motorization, which is expanding the demand for dedicated parking spaces, especially in central areas. To ease the mentioned issues, the keen stopping framework has been created. With the execution of the intelligent framework, supporters can without much of a stretch find a secure empty parking spot at Parking which seems convenient to them. Currently we have systems like these which uses sensor technology to indicate a vacant parking space but these systems are very expensive and thus not equally efficient, to secure the parking premises man power is required. Instead of using sensors cameras are used for both purposes i.e. to detect the vacant and free parking spaced and for real time surveillance of the vehicles, which is less costly and easy to maintain with less man power. Computer Vision module along with some database module would be installed in our project to fulfill requirements of our parking System.Item Full Stack App Creator(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus., 2021-11-20) Muhammad Waqas Ilyas; SP17-BCS-052; M. Usman Akram; LHR TP 7182For all database driven web applications, developers need to implement at least four CRUD (create, read, update, and delete) operations for almost every table in the database. This leads to the development of repetitive tasks of creating a web form and connecting to the database because the process of connecting and querying the database remains the same for almost all tables. Especially when there are few relationships between tables. Front-end and back-end implementation may vary from application to application, but with authentication and authorization, almost all applications will have the same functionality. There are many instant CRUD generators for various technologies, but they are almost all black boxes and difficult for developers to adapt. We bridged this gap by providing a dedicated CRUD React production tool for MERN called Full Stack App Creator that automates the implementation of the above functionality in standard REST1 mode. Our advanced tool generates application code for frontend and backend according to the specified JSON scheme without generating CRUD functions in black box. We used configurations and rules to simplify the code generation process. This helps you develop web applications to build more sophisticated and high quality web applications in less time.Item NCEAC Compliance Portal(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus., 2021-11-20) Hassan Nawaz; SP17-BSE-036; Sabeen AmjadThe NCEAC is an accreditation authority that looks after accreditation of institutes and gives them appropriate ratings. For NCEAC accreditation, currently, hectic paperwork is done manually. Time is wasted in printing, storing, and managing papers. Teachers use the form to fill in detail about courses including assignments, quizzes, and supporting material which is also approved by reviewers such as the teaching area in-charge. If a single document is missing from the folder then it is very difficult to arrange that document especially when the folder is of any previous semester. The folder has to be presented during the accreditation process for which it should be 100% complete. We will develop a web application which will digitize this process and will allow instant uploading documents, and adding remarks. The main objective of this project is to improve the process of accreditation by minimizing the use of paper and making document transfer and review process faster.Item Mathaholic(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus., 2021-11-20) Bushra Ashraf; FA17-BSE-002; Najam-us-Sehar; LHR TP 7060Poor performance in mathematics education has been a rising concern in several countries in recent years. Children are interested in playing games and learning through games. Therefore,in this project, we create an educational game application that facilitates math beginners to be an expert in Mathematics. Also, by using graphic representations and communicating characters, they can learn the skills and validate their ability level by playing games and solving riddles. It also benefits the pet owners because not only they can book their appointment for the treatment but they can purchase any item related to pets online.Item #PlanMeet&Log(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus., 2021-11-20) Zain UL Haq; SP17- BSE-141; Sheeza Zaheer#PlanMeet&Log is a web-based application providing scheduling, management, and facilitation of meetings. Through our application, meetings can be planned and created in no time. Reminders would be sent to all participants in the created meeting. Each user would have a profile consisting the information of all the meetings he/she has attended or planned. Furthermore, meeting creator can add progress of everyone attending the meeting and their attendance record will be maintained. We are providing a feature of both online and offline meetings. Users can do messaging and video calling in the case of online meeting.Item Smart Auto Mechanic Finder(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus., 2021-11-20) Muhammad Umer Fareed; CIIT/SP17-BSE-143/LHR; Dr. Farooq Ahmad; LHR TP 7138Smart Auto Mechanic Finder is an android based application for the purpose of finding auto mechanics that is near to your current location. Currently, all the details of tuning and repairing of vehicles used to be maintained manually. This is not advisable because maintenance and retrieval of information become tedious. Our Project on Car mechanic finder is fully online application that provides complete access throughout the organization and Customers in which they can login and get good experience of use. There are two main entities, one is Mechanic and second is user. Anyone who wants to provide vehicle services is a Mechanic. The mechanic provides his bio data and skills for the sake of making portfolio. This portfolio is provided to the customer whereas the customer can visualize the mechanic profile. A user can be vehicle owner who selects the car services which he wants to avail. User chooses the mechanic by viewing his profile which has detail information about Mechanic. Moreover, information about a mechanic, comments and rating should be visible on his profile. This application is location base to find Mechanic as near to user for convince for both Mechanic and Vehicle Owner.Item Visual Shop(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus., 2022-11-20) Asim Ramzan; FA18-BCS-128; Dr. Zeeshan GillaniWith over two decades of internet boom, shopping trends have changed a lot. People use human computer interaction for shopping online. After a decade of internet rise, intelligent systems were designed to interact with humans to assist in online shopping. These bots were trained to start conversations the way humans talk and helped searching products via text inputs or voice messages. These intelligent systems were not good at searching products via images or based on certain features. Mostly it is a hectic process for customers to describe these types of features while hunting for products online. This brings us to the need of searching by image assistant or Visual Shop which recommends products based on the image provided by the user. Users can capture a snap from the device directly or take any pictures from social media to follow the latest trends and search for the same products on an e-commerce store. A recommendation system helps in online shopping based on the previous shopping or search history. It uses stats and knowledge retrieval methods to come up with best matching product suggestions. A decade ago, it was normally said that the world was a global village. As per today’s scenario, the situation has changed drastically. The global village has now been squeezed into the palms of our hands, and the whole world is just a touch away. In the business world, this shift to Internet-based technology has created a new status quo. The exponential rise of e-business has captivated the public's attention. If we talk about the ongoing pandemic (COVID-19) situation, People were bound to remain in their houses. All over the world, marketplaces were under lockdown closures. In this scenario, only e-commerce-based portals and markets experienced a boom to new heights. Amazon is one such example of this extravaganza. In Pakistan, consumers (customers and sellers) suffered a lot during the lockdown as there were very few reliable websites or trustworthy portals. Where they could buy and sell at a pleasant price without fear. Our project is e-commerce based, focusing on both end- customers and sellers. We have devised a virtual mall for mobiles and laptops (new and used as well). We have decided to build virtual floor levels with specifically identified shops.
