Item Tour Hunt(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2024) Muhammad Faizan Ahmad (FA20- BSE-016); Asma Muzzamil (FA20- BSE-004); Laiba Iqbal (FA20- BSE-045); Sana RizwanWith the advancement in technology and a rising trend of systems providing personalized user experience, our Tour Hunt web system will allow the user to have control over his/her budget by customizing different expense parameters such as tour budget, food, places to visit and will allow them to explore the places for touring which best fits their budget. In Pakistan, the trend of tours has also rose and many people often plan their vacation time for touring. The current tour systems, neither web based nor mobile based apps, provide the user with the ability to explore tour places by setting their budget parameters. For some people, traveling is their whole life. They make tour plans every now and then. For people like them, it might have become easier for them if they were able to set their expenses as parameters and explore the places lying within their budget. Keeping that in mind, we will develop such a system which will allow these people to make tour plans according to their budget. Our system will allow the third parties to register their tour packages for the customers. The customer will be able to set different expense parameters, make login or signup profile, see other users feedbacks as well as give feedbacks to the tour packages. Users will also be able to create a community and add people where they will be able to post comments and pictures, have discussions and get suggestions for travelling.Item ORNATUS(Library Information Services, CUI Lahore, 2024) Muhammad Atif; FA20-BCS-051/; Sana Rizwan"Ornatus" is a project with the goal of transforming the furniture market through a blend of technology and design. This digital platform offers a selection of carefully crafted furniture designs, sizes, and colors along with augmented reality features that allow users to visualize how the furniture will look in their own living spaces before making a purchase. By making interior design more accessible and affordable "Ornatus" caters to a range of preferences and aims to reach a wider audience. In addition to its benefits for consumers the project also aims to uncover insights, into industry trends and preferences showcasing how digital innovation can reshape traditional sectors. Each person has a unique personality. it is responsible for the thought process, decision-making, and behaviour of a person. What if we can predict a person’s personality? We might be able to predict the actions, decisions, and behaviour of a person and by predicting one’s personality we can help him to suggest a career according to his interests. In today’s era, there are numerous career options from which a person can choose from, but it is also a problem for those who are not certain about their interest and career choice. In underdeveloped countries where the education system is not top-notch and no proper counselling, the students remain confused about which career should they opt for they then go for options that they are not interested in, and which do not suit their personality. To overcome this issue E-diary introduced. This application not only be easy to use but also multi-purpose and multi-functional. People now able to read news, see weather forecast, schedule their events just one application and by one click.Item Smart Police: A dynamic system that eliminates the delay in the advent of police at a crime scene(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus., 2020-11-20) Abdul Samad Butt; CIIT/FA16- BCS- 039/LHR; Sana Rizwan; LHR TP 6182Citizens today face various problems while reporting the crimes to the police. Sometimes, it is the police which is at delay due to certain reasons, for instance; the patrol wagons are not available, the police-men are way too busy to reach at the crime spot on time, or the phone is engaged and people find it difficult to record their report. Due to the above-mentioned problems the common people face great troubles. To overcome these issues, a system is being proposed that may not only help the victims but also the police department to work efficiently. This proposed system focuses on eliminating the delay Pakistan Police faces in arriving at the crime locations, which is majorly because of the inadequate means of communication between them.Item Online Voting System(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus., 2021-11-20) Areebah; Sp17-bse-164; Sana RizwanNowadays E-government is facing many problems across heterogeneous organizations and institutions in information integration. Particularly E-government faces several different problems in achieving interoperability and integration taking into account all the rules and regulations according to different administrative services in different situations. To solve such issues we are going to design a Web-Based Online Voting System which will provide a much better platform than the traditional paper-based polling system, to organizations to conduct elections according to their own needs and requirements. Our Online Voting System will provide the easiest platform to conduct inter and intra- organizational elections eliminating not only the risks of mistakes and corruption but will also reduce labor work and paper cost as well. Votes won’t need to go too far off places to cast votes but will now be able to cast votes by just a single click after entering their verified credentials. Voters who are out of stations can easily cast votes by just having the availability of any of the internet-connected device’s web browser like chrome, fire-fox, etc. There will be no chance of fake casting of votes because we are designing this system in such a way that high-level security techniques are being implemented. To avoid fake casting of votes and corruption multilevel security checks are being implemented in the intelligence system. We have eliminated the chances of wrong counting or duplication of votes by making the intelligence system secured by two-factor authentication and refund security techniques. This online voting system has provided proper interfaces to votes so that voters won’t find any difficulty in the casting of votes. Votes will be cast with verified credentials and data will be stored in the database storage memory. Evaluations will be done under the intelligence system. Our Online Voting System will be the most fast, efficient, and accurate platform to conduct online elections. We’ll be designing our Project by using web-based languages like React and Node mainly, and javascript and MongoDB if required. Very few, mostly the labs are neglected and there is no proper system for them. To overcome this problem, we built monitoring, controlling and reporting management system. As the name says there is a controlling system to control the flow of labs, a monitoring system to monitor the labs ,the staffs and their duties, and a reporting system so the heads can be well known of the problems and the labs. The lab information must be as accurate as possible, in order to be useful in a computer or management setting the reporting and operations should be accurate and reliable and timely. Lab management system is a system that allows all the processes needed for efficiently managing data and work. to overcome all the problems and to get a more secure way to manage labs we need a lab management system that can provide all the functionally for lab systems for IT such as functions for attendance for workers, Facility monitoring, Daily reports, Staff leave form, Lab status reports and many such functions.Item SE49_Click & Pick(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2021) Shoaib Uzair , Zaid Saeed , Abdullah Naveed; FA17-BSE-012 , FA17-BSE-015 , FA17-BSE-018; Sana Rizwan; LHR TP 7034Online delivery has its perks but sometimes the cons over weigh it’s pros. long delivery times, damaged deliveries, arduous return procedure. To minimize this, we have proposed to automate a different form of shopping which is “Take away”. Our system will cater to the needs of people who need them to receive their orders quickly and provide them a chance to examine their products prior to purchase. This system allows seller to register his shop on the app and place his products. The seller can make place different products so that different buyers can buy them. The buyer can register and look for products. Buyer can select different categories and he can buy these items. The seller will shift the product to the nearest Collection point. He can go and pick the item to satisfy himself by checking the quality of product. The Riders can register their vehicles in the app so they can deliver the products to the buyers. Every user will have different interface provided by the app. Each collection point will have one Manager. Manager can login by giving the email ID given by Database. The Manager can manage orders and different stores registered. A Rider can’t login as a Buyer and vice versa. Every user has different interface to avoid any misconceptions. A buyer can buy products, rate products, see orders, search for items, add item to cart, remove item from cart while a seller can sell products, manage inventory, manage stores, edit store information and can do much more. A Rider can look into orders, deliver orders and can look order history. Shipment management system users represent a diverse array of companies, with a surprisingly high percentage of users using outsourced services for decision support activities. Motives for adoption tend to align with the firm’s strategic needs though functionality focuses on the shipper’s day-to-day operational needs. While expectations of system performance and return on investment vary greatly, Shipment management system users illustrate a generally high level of satisfaction. Non-adopters view decision support for transportation activities as a low priority. The project report explores prospects for Shipment management system development and adoption in Pakistan and at international level.
