The research is conducted to study the impact of environmental dynamism (ED) directly or indirectly by linking the mediating role of supply chain collaboration between supply chain orientation and supply chain agility. This study contributes by discussing the roles of supply chain orientation (SCO) and supply chain collaboration (SCC) in the development of an agile supply chain in the context of rising volatility in the manufacturing industry of Pakistan. Consequently, these notions were firstly discussed and theorized on the base of literature. Secondly, this is the cross-sectional study that executes the quantitative method for data collection through an online survey questionnaire. Since the data was collected during the COVID-19 pandemic, from 315 manufacturing firms and this research study is influential from the point of view of exposing the significance of the concepts under study. Additionally, to analyze the proposed model and hypotheses different analysis techniques were employed using different statistical software Packages. The findings reveal the significant direct relationships along with the substantial and positive role of supply chain collaboration by mediating between supply chain orientation and supply chain agility. Furthermore, the moderating effect of environmental dynamism was insignificant and negative.
