Thermal Stability and Hawking Evaporation of Specific Black Holes
(Library Information Services, CUI Lahore, 2022) Usman Zafar; SP20-RMT-014/; Dr. Abdul Jawad LHR TP 7628
In this thesis, we explore thermal °uctuations for di®erent black holes such as braneworld black hole and Renormalization group improved Schwarz- schild black hole. Thermodynamic quantities such as temperature, pressure, entropy, speci¯c heat capacity at constant pressure and volume, ratio be- tween these heat capacities, Gibbs free energy and Helmholtz free energy are discussed for these black holes. To investigate the stability condition of these black holes, exponential corrected entropy has been used. Local and global stability of these black holes in canonical ensemble and grand canonical ensemble are being explored. We investigate the Hawking evapo- ration of Reisner NordstÄorm anti-de-Sitter black hole with global monopole and anti-de-Sitter charged black hole with global monopole. We derive and plot the metric function, e®ective potential, mass and Hawking tempera- ture of these black holes and also discuss the e®ects of these quantities on the Hawking evaporation of these black holes. Lifetime of these black holes and how the evaporation process is make faster or slower are discussed.
