    INFLUENCE OF FACEBOOK AMONG UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

    Today, Facebook is considered as one of the most popular platforms for online and social networking among youth, and university students. Simply Facebook is a most popular free social networking website that allows users to create profiles, upload photos and video, send messages and keep in touch with friends, family and colleagues. The purpose of this report is to explain the basic use of Facebook by the students of university level. By making the report we are able to explain the impacts of Facebook on the students in the university. However, there are more than 500 million of active users of Facebook in every month. While using the Facebook, students may be able to share their information on Facebook groups so every student may complete his work by using social media it may considered as positive and negative way. Facebook usage has been associated with both positive and negative impacts to different aspects of student’s lives. Facebook in particular offers significant advantages for its users, for example, sharing and collecting information, searching for jobs, communication, and entertainment. Negative impacts of its use have also been identified, including: impaired academic performance, health problems and personal relationship problems
