Item Discount Easy(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus., 2020-11-20) ZOHAB UL HASSAN; FA16-BSE-180; Sajid Ibrahim Hashmi; LHR TP 6245The proposed project is a concept that is business-oriented. There are two main users of our system. The buyer (consumer) and the seller (provider). The DiscountEasy (purposed name of project) will connect service providers and service consumers. Our purposed system will help the service provider or sellers to promote their business and achieve more profit. On the other hand, service consumers or buyers will also be beneficial by getting discount in form of group. To make understand a brief example is given. Star Coffee (supposed name) open new branch at a specific location. In the start they don’t have a profitable strength of customers. So, they make an offer that the charges of 1 coffee is Rs 100. But the charges will be Rs 80 on group of 3 customers. In this way they can attract more customers. The Star Coffee gaining profit in form of more customers. And the customers are gaining discount of Rs 20 if they make group of 3 individuals. So, they are getting discount if form of group. The above statement determines service-oriented business. Same case is in the product-oriented business. Consider an example where Pakistan National Fan (an electronic company) says that the price of 1 electric fan is RS 2000, but the price will be RS 1500 in purchase of 3 or more electronic fans. In this way the buyer can sell more items to its customers and customers can get discount if they buy product in form of 3 of or more. So, they can also buy things on discount in form of group. So, our purposed project will enable the consumers to post offers on our sites. And customers will visit site and make groups if they are interested in any offer. Our project is not only for a specific business. It is generic software. And all kind of selling purchasing business can use our software. Bidding/Auction feature is also implemented in our system. It is same like auction, but online auction. People post item with their start bidding price. Customers will bid on that item. On the end of a specific when bidding will close, the highest bidder will be the owner of that item. And can avail that item. So, our project has two core features. One is that the customers can avail discount in form of group. And Online Auction system.Item Online Cafeteria Ordering System(LHR TP 7032, 2021) Syed Ahmed Bin Waseem , Mehboob Iqbal; FA17-BSE-042 , FA17-BSE-081 ,; Sajid Ibrahim Hashmi; LHR TP 7032In modern era everything is being automated, but the cafes at universities are using the same manual methods of conducting business. Even in COMSATS University we see that operations of cafeterias are being performed manually. Our proposed system will automate the processes carried out by cafeterias in universities. Our system will help the students to order food through mobile application and pick the order when its prepared. It will also help reduce long lines at counter and high waiting time for getting food. Menu will be displayed on the application and students can order by paying through in app tokens or by cash over the counter. This system can be adopted in any university café.Item Pragmatic Evidence on Android Malware Analysis Techniques: A Systematic Literature Review(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2021) Mr Mian Muhammad Bilal; SP18-RCS-021; LHR TP 7584; Sajid Ibrahim HashmiA large number of state-of-the-art studies on android malware detection and analysis techniques have been published during the last decade. A few comprehensive surveys also exist on the subject. The authors proposed different techniques, tools and frameworks to identify the malware. However, no study attempted to address a systematic review of literature on detection and analysis of android malware methods, systems, and frameworks. In this thesis, we have attempted to present a systematic review of literature on android malware detection and analysis techniques and tools. In this review study, we have identified different android malware detection and analysis methods and tools presented from 2010 to 2021 by following the guidelines of Kitchenham Systematic Literature Review methodology. This thesis presents the 75 most relevant studies out of 3343 published studies. We have determined the android malware datasets used by the android malware detection and analysis techniques. This thesis work has identified that the most used malicious datasets are Genome (39%) and Drebin (36%). We have identified the source code analysis methods in terms of static, dynamic, and hybrid used by android malware detection techniques. We have also identified the limitations and future directions of existing techniques as research gaps for the community. Based on the pragmatic evidence of this research, we have proposed a hybrid analysis based multiple feature analysis framework. This framework will not only address the limitations of static and dynamic based approaches, but it will also analyse evolving android malware datasets using deep neural network and machine learning techniques and improve the accuracy for evolving malware samples
