THE IMPACT OF EMPLOYEE PARTICIPATION ON ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE
(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2020) SONIA KANWAL; SP17-BBA-014; Haroon Rashid; LHR TP 6636
In twenty-first century, the business environment is getting so fast paced and dynamic. Today Organizations are very much pressurized due to stiff competition. So, organizations have to come up with strategies that will give them a competitive edge. Employee participation in decision making is one such strategy. It is in many forms and varies from organization to organization. Participation of employees is the involvement of employee in decision making which is also concerned with shared decision making in the work situation. It is also the form of delegation in which the subordinate gain control and freedom of choice with respect to bridging the communication gap between the management and workers. Employee participation is the process in which employees take part in decision making process, instead of directly implementing on orders.
