    Logistics is the movement of goods from point of origin to point of consumption. It is one of the major components of the way businesses operate and considered as a critical factor which plays a vital role in running the business successfully. Most companies rely on third which party logistics to save costs and get more efficient result from specialized service providers. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of logistics and Transportation Company and their inefficiencies that result as negative performances and their root causes. This paper highlights the economic, social and technological effect on smooth working of logistics and transpiration provider as well as their internal factors which affect the efficiency of services. Data collected through interviews via telephonic conversations and face to face meetings. the survey tool used was a questionnaire. Thus, primarily the contribution of this research is to highlight the relation between 3rd party and logistics department to achieve maximum level of services to realize the competitive advantages.
