FINANCIAL MODEL SUITABLE FOR ECOMMERCE IN PAKISTAN
(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2020) Nadir Hussain; SP17-BBA-025; Kashif Mahmmod; LHR TP 6802
Executive Summary Objective: This report discusses about ‘ecommerce and three-statement financial model’. The purpose is to explore this ‘financial model’ for ‘ecommerce in Pakistan’, how it works for an online food business, what are the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities, threats and challenges and also how to deal with these issues. How this is used in ‘ecommerce food services’ more specifically. Methodology: ‘Secondary data analysis also called Archival study’ is used for this report to be prepared. I relied on the previous research on the related topic and extracted data. Conclusion: ‘Three-statement financial model’ works best for Pakistan’s ecommerce because of its detailed yet simple nature. There surely are some cons like every other real working model in the world of ecommerce but as Pakistan’s ecommerce is not yet developed so starting from a simpler model would be a best option.
