    The purpose of this study is to examine why it is important for an organization to manage change to survive in this highly competitive market. There are various internal and external forces that drive organization to change. In the pandemic situation of COVID-19, many businesses adapted themselves to prevent their businesses to cripple. Companies that cannot adapt and take advantage of growth opportunities are probable to be defeated by agile competitors or even disappear. 3 approaches are discussed that successful businesses adopt to manage change. Furthermore, organizations face many obstacles while bringing change for which recommendations are presented to overcome these hurdles.

    Organizational change is as old as the organization itself. The roots of change management go back to World War II and the large-scale mobilization of soldiers. As a result, this led to the study of management and then to the impact of the changes (9mconsulting, 2018). The emergence, development and development of change management, from basic understanding to conceptual foundation, and then to recognized disciplines. In the last 25 years, the emergence, development and development of change management, from basic understanding to conceptual foundation, to a recognized discipline. Four different eras marked the development and growth of the discipline of change management: Pre-1990s: Foundations The first era of change management was the period prior to 1990. During this period, the emphasis is on upgrading individuals' insights of human beings, how individuals experience change, and how human beings cooperate and react. This era provides knowledge, research and systems imperative to understanding fruitful change.
