Textile exists mostly in literature and sculpture, textile history in Pakistan started from the Indus valley civilization around 3000 B.C. From hundreds of years the whole economic progress is taking place through textile production, as we produce and we export. A textile museum is an important cultural institution that preserves, studies, and exhibits historical and traditional textiles. It plays a vital role in telling the story of textile heritage, including the techniques, materials, and cultural significance behind different fabrics. Through collections, displays, and educational programs, a textile museum highlights the evolution of textile production and the artistic skills of craftsmen. It also helps visitors understand the social, economic, and cultural impact of textiles in different societies. Thus, a textile museum serves as a bridge between the past and present, promoting awareness and appreciation of textile traditions
