Smart Speech Recognition Application for Quran Recitation
(Library Information Services, CUI Lahore, 2023) Khawaja Ali Hassan; SP18-BSE-080; Dr. Atifa Athar
Around the world total population of Muslims is 1.8 billion and out of this approximately 422 million people can speak Arabic language. Therefore, only 20% of Muslims can understand the Arabic language and 80% of Muslims can’t understand the Arabic language. Arabic is the fifth most spoken language in the world. The Quran is the most precious thing for Muslims. The Quran is revelation from God. So, getting to know the actual meaning of the Quran is essential. Most of the Muslims can’t understand what is being said while reading or hearing the Quran recitation. Based on this, we need to develop an application that can visually show the translation of Quran verses in multiple languages whenever it has been recited in real time. Our core idea is to show textual data (Quran verse with translation) on application
