(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2020) Faiqa Batool; FA17-RMS-014; Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Abdullah; LHR TP 6041
The main objective of current study is to identify the role of self-efficacy in development of entrepreneurial intentions (EI) among university students and also describes the relation of learning self-efficacy (LSE), creative self-efficacy (CSE), entrepreneurial self-efficacy (ESE), proactive personality (PP), subjective norm (SN) and attitude toward entrepreneurship (ATE) with entrepreneurial intentions. Literature links entrepreneurial intentions with self- efficacy, subjective norms and attitude toward entrepreneurship. The relationship between independent variables and dependent variable is explained through correlation and multiple regression analysis using to test hypotheses. Total 148 responses are collected from three different university students that are in process of their graduation degree. The learning self-efficacy, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, proactive personality, subjective norm and attitude toward entrepreneurship have a positive and significant role in development of entrepreneurial intentions but creative self-efficacy is come out as insignificant. These findings can be very helpful for educational institutions in planning programs to encourage entrepreneurship. This study is a step forward into research of entrepreneurial intentions by directly associating two broader forms of self-efficacy with entrepreneurial intention.
