    Message Communications
(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2024) Ayza Zahid; FA21-BMC-009; Mr. Shehryar Abbasi; LHR TP 9946
This report encompasses the account of the six-week internship that was conducted at Message Communication, which is an essential part of my Bachelor's degree in Media and Communication Studies at COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus. This internship was basically aimed at bringing the gap between academic theory and professional practice and facilitating contribution toward the organizational objectives of Message Communication. I spent my internship period exposed to different perspectives of the communication industry in interactions with numerous departments to get an overview of the functions of the organization. The report details my role, key tasks, and specific projects that I was involved in during the internship period, together with the skills and knowledge acquired. The additional observations described below outline more of what I learned about the work culture of the organization and teamwork, and the strategies applied to engage clients and create contents. The report has categorized into various sections that are specifically concerned with a critical point of the internship experience. First, it starts off by giving an overview of the organization, discussing its mission, structure, and operational processes. Then, there is an extensive description of my work: analyzing, contributing in content creation, and participating in brainstorming sessions. In addition, the report would elaborate on discussing interactions with other departments, a function that would show all the ways through which they contribute to the achievement of overall objectives of the organization. The report gives an overview of my personal development during the internship. The report emphasizes technical and soft skills that make for a rich foundation in interpersonal communications, problem-solving, and good time management. I track through issues arising during the internship and how I set about solving them to indicate my adaptability and commitment to learning. In conclusion, the present report offers insightful understanding on the practical experience in Message Communication, revealing how this internship period has prepared the ground to the professional demands of the media and communication industry. All the experiences and lessons to be learned in this period will set a basis for the future career moves.
