Internship report on Askari Bank Limited
(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus., 2017-11-20) Faizan Arif; FA14-BAF-068; Amir Riaz; LHR TP 6898
Askari Bank Private Limited (AKBL) was formed on October 9, 1999 under Karachi, Lahore and Islambad stock exchanges. It is primarily aimed at providing loans, managing reserves and corresponding budget administrations. For these services, Askari Bank holds its rank among top banks of the country. Its sustainability has been challenged many times as a emerging name but it managed to overcome these constraints so far and has now more than 406 branches across the country satisfying millions of clients. I started my internship at Askari Banks on July 12, 2017. I spent around six weeks (42 days) at the bank to understand the structure and dynamics of activities like customer correspondence, recruitment and understanding staff duties in its various departments of the branch. My deep observations regarding these executions have been added to the report. These points not only include the portfolio reports of the bank but also my own work related inferences. During my stay at the bank, I was appointed as a learning subordinate. After first two weeks of soaking work details at the bank, I put in my own practical services.
