Item Environment And Feeding Control Of Poultry Farm By:(comsats university islamabad lahore campus, 2020) Abdul Basit , Muhammad Umar,; FA15-EEE-024 , FA15-EEE-022; Dr. Yaqoob Javed, Assistant Profesor; LHR TP 5866By automation we reduced a manual work. In controlled-environment house inside conditions had kept as near as possible to the bird's best requirements. In controlling systems, the user can adjust entirely to bird’s optimum requirements with the use of sensors and controller. We make it automatic so that no need to worry about the feed, water, light, humidity, temperature. Due to automation, time waste has been reduced. The feed to gain ratio is improved with exact nutrient feeding program that provided best outputs with less human efforts and also human errors. Our system provides distant excess to growers. Hence growers are able to monitor these unit using his mobile. The project promotes a flexible, inexpensive and business version which is able to perform best for tiny to medium size operations.Item Smart Battery Management System PV Applications(COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus Library Information Services, CUI Lahore, 2019) Muhammad Talha Naveed , Sheikh Shahram Ali,; FA15-EEE-019 , FA15-EEE-025; Dr. Yaqoob Javed, Assistant Profesor; LHR TP 5863Currently the most commonly used storage technology for photovoltaic application (PV) are batteries. The problem is that PV system are not an ideal source for charging batteries. As the output of the PV is not constant, it vary according to the sun position. So, a battery management system (BMS) is required. The main aim of BMS is to optimize the use of battery and prolong the life of a battery in order to making the overall system more reliable and cost effective. Many monitoring techniques are used to monitor the battery state of charge, temperature, power, voltage and charging/discharging of current. For monitoring purpose, digital and analog sensors with microcontrollers are used. The battery information and the obtained results explaining the main characteristics of the system are presented by the LCD screen. The control strategy employed on electrical properties of Dry cell/Acid regulated batteries by the battery management system (BMS) of a PV application. This project also covers a cost effective Battery Testing System (BTS) which will provide constant charging and discharging of current, voltage and power simultaneously. Moreover, a Dc to Dc boost converter, lab view program and an MPPT algorithm will also be designed for improving the charging and discharging of the battery.
