Effect of Slip Velocity at a Porous Surface in Tube Flow System using Series Solution Method
(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2016) Zil-e-Huma; SP15-RMT-002; LHR TP 6987; Dr. Muhammad Younas
In this thesis, an attempt has been made on the effect of slip velocity at a mem brane surface in a tube flow system. The Navier-Stokes equations in cylindrical coordinates reduced to fourth order non-linear ordinary differential equation, con taining a parameter Rew, the wall Reynolds number. The semi-analytical solution of the set of governing equations with suitable slip flow boundary conditions is presented by using power series method to obtain velocity profile, pressure gradi ent and friction coefficient. Also the effect of slip coefficient on velocity profiles and pressure gradient is studied and their graphical solutions are also provided

Slip Effects Of Creeping Flow Of Couple Stress …
(Library Information Services COMSATS University Islamabad Lahore Campus, 2021) Muhammad Saqib Iqbal; SP19-RMT-012; LHR TP 7411; Dr. Muhammad Younas
metal industry it is used in metal cutting process, in polymer industry it is used in plas- tic processing and also used in chemical processing. Our discussion is scattered around the speci c type of non-Newtonian uid called couple stress uid. Couple stress uid is a polar form of uid as it has polar e ects. Couple stress uid [1] rst studied by Stokes and Vijay Kumar, they considered e ects of couple stresses on a uid. A series of di erent boundary value problems was solved by them to express the result of couple stresses. The study of couple stress uid [2] is exceptionally valuable in understanding di erent physical problems, it has system to depict the logically complex uids for ex- ample, \liquid crystals, colloidal uids, liquid crystals containing long chain molecules as polymeric suspensions, animal and human blood and lubrication" M.Farooq and A. M. Siddiqui [3] investigated an incompressible torque-strained uid to study the non- isothermal Poiseuille ow between two parallel inclined plates, also they discuss Reynold number which are depend on temperature. K. S. Mekheimer [4] studied the creeping ow of couple stress uid in regular and irregular 2D channels under zero Reynolds num-

Slip Effects on a Creeping Viscous Flow through a Uniform Porous Tube with Exponential Re-Absorption
(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2018) MUHAMMAD ARSHAD; CIIT/SP16-RMT-003/LHR; Dr. Muhammad Younas; LHR TP 5442
The purpose of this research is to study slip outcomes on creeping viscous flow across tube which is permeable. The fluid is flowing and exponential . reabsorption The governing equations are solved with the help of stream function technique which is an efficient method to solve non linear partial differential equations. Calculate velocity profile which contains radial and axial velocity. Flow rate is also calculated. The graphical analysis of the problem is also given.

Slip Effects on Creeping Flow Through Porous Tube with Sinusoidal Reabsorption
(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2019) Muhammad Sufyan Sharif; FA17-RMT-034; Dr. Muhammad Younas; LHR TP 5660
In this thesis, we have investigated the creeping flow of viscous fluid through a porous tube with sinusoidal reabsorption on the wall under the effect of slip boundary condi tions. The system of non-linear partial differential equations (PDE’s) has been solved using inverse method for stream function formulation of the problem. Mathematical expressions for velocity components, volume flow rate, leakage flux, wall shear stress, pressure distribution, average pressure, mean pressure drop and fractional absorption are obtained. The analytical solutions of the governing equations are also presented graphically
