Item Impact of Perceived Human Resource Management Practices on Emotional Exhaustion: Mediating Role of Job involvement and Work overload(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2017) Maria Ashraf; SP15-MBO-004; Dr Asma Imran; LHR TP 4767Research concluded that perception about HRM practices is the reason behind employees’ well-being and other researchers explained it oppositely. In the present study, we are recognizing these findings by focusing on the role of perceived HRM practices. Our model explains that when employees perceive that HRM practices are to enhance their performance the experienced higher level of job involvement which is the reason behind lower level of emotional exhaustion. Conversely, when employees perceived that HRM practices are to cut down the cost they feel work overload which converted into higher level of emotional exhaustion. The data was collected using simple random sampling and statistical software was analyzed through SPSS. For analysis, Correlation and regression were used to test the research hypothesis. For this Research, a study is conduct in banking sector of employees in Pakistan. In the study, it appears that there is a meaningful relationship between perceived organizational that is positive, supervisor support on performance, using a sample of 200 banking employees. The study explains that Information system development is a process of multiple problem solving which demands knowledge management of diverse knowledge resources. Team diversity causes interpersonal conflicts among team members, which are encouraged to promote creativity, innovation and team building. Data is collected by survey method from the sample of 187 information system project managers/team leaders, who were employed in software houses of the Lahore city. Hypothesis and mediation tested with the use of a second generation multivariate data analysis method called structural equation modeling. According to the results it has been confirmed, that problem solving competence and interpersonal conflicts mediates the effect of team knowledge management on project performance. Results of analysis supported the theoretical model. Study has examined that how servant leadership effect followers’ engagement, motivation, learning by considering the mediating role of follower empowerment. To achieve study objectives, effective methodology has been adopted. In order to meet the objectives of study data has been collected through questionnaire from 400 business graduates from different HEC recognize universities by using stratified random sampling technique. The results of the study have showed that servant teaching significantly and positively impact the students’ engagement, learning, motivation, and psychological empowerment. The findings also revealed that the relationship of servant leadership with follower learning, engagement, and motivation is significantly mediated by psychological empowerment.
