    Rehabilitation Center For Drug Addicts

    The investigation represents the prevalence ofdrugs, so the drugs and not the drug addict as the probleminthe city. Thus,the needofthe moment is to think ofhow to isolate drugs from the life ofdrug addicts, rather than to isolate the drug addicts from the society, and letting them be die. The posterdeals withan interpretation of the troubled image ofthe city that leads people towards drug use. In the poster, the man entering from the left, has shown stepping down towards the desire ofusing more drugs without realizing the fact that he has been deficient more as he is taking another step. So, he is beingthrown in the isolated corners ofthe city which are the railway stations, railwaylines,main roads ofthe city where traffic isvery fast and private spaces that are left abandoned. The project aims ofrehabilitation Centre that engages with its surrounding community, nurturing various levels of controlled interaction between patient and public. It would be combined facility that would give back to itscommunity through shared communal facilities. Thissearch alsotakeouttheexisting rehabilitation ecology and the gradual transition process in theformulation ofa new hybrid system that combines the various phases ofrehabilitation within a central facility. The project intentions todeinstitutionalize the existing rehabilitation programme through the 'simulation ofa real life' ideas,wherethe facility will incorporate acquainted elements, such asthe house and neighborhood toreplicate the variety ofenvironments in our everyday lives. Thedesign uses 'natureastherapy through architecture' with the execution ofvarious concepts, which includes atherapeutic platform , serving as an urban filter that defuses the harsh urban context ofthe location ofsite
