(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2021) Aymen Masood , Asma Khalid , Hafsah Fatima; SP17-BSE-032 , SP17-BSE-062 , SP17-BSE-140; Sir Atif Saeed; LHR TP 7189
The aim of the project is to develop a platform that aids students in solving queries about their university related activities. The chatbot tends to act like an administrator to students and help them in solving their queries related to their schedules, courses, registration and other issues. This online system will provide students a platform where they can ask questions easily from the chatbot without worrying about visiting the university department, as the admin in the university is not always available to provide students with all the answers so the chat bot ensures the maximum availability by responding to the queries provided in the form of keywords. The results of their queries will be generated through the Chatbot. The system analyses the student’s queries in the form of the message. This System is a web application that gives a response to the questions of the student. The chatbot will not only provide the answer in the written form but a text to speech feature has been added which will speaks out the answer to the students. This chatbot will be used by an Admin who can add, delete and update any data. There are three main modules of this application Admin, Student and Guest User. There will be a feature in which most frequently used keywords are added in order to increase the efficiency (in terms of time) of the system. The system replies using an effective Graphical user interface which implies that as if a real person is talking to the user.
