    DocPlag- A Plagiarism Detector
(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2021) M Zain Mubashir , Laeeqa Gaffar , Abdur Rehman; FA17-BSE-119 , FA17-BSE-050 , FA17-BSE-128; Asmara Safdar; LHR TP 7048
We have developed a system to ease the required effort for checking plagiarism between documents that consists of text and diagrams. Our system will find the plagiarism of a given document based on the similarity of both text and diagrams or figures. We have used sequence matcher to find similarity between documents. We have also used yolo v3 model for better accuracy.

    Driver Drowsiness Detection System
(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2021) HANNAN BIN TAHIR; Fa17-bse-005; Asmara Safdar
Drowsiness is one of the major causes of driving accidents, and it results in several road fatalities. These days, driver drowsiness is one of the prime causes of most of the accidents in the world. To solve such a problem, a driver drowsiness detection system is developed, which uses the closure period of eyes to detect drowsiness. Especially the system continuously analyses the movement of eyes of the drivers. When the duration of the eyes is not normal, an alarm gets activated to warn or alert them. The system is implemented on python with a single camera. Different machine learning libraries are used such as Keras, Cv2, OS, Matplotlib, Tensorflow and Numpy. Deep Neural Network is used to demonstrate the system's good performance in terms of accuracy in drowsiness detection results and thus reduces road accidents. This project aims to use image processing techniques to detect the driver's drowsiness in a driving simulator and reduces road fatalities.

Robot Task Planning using Semantic maps
(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus., 2020-11-20) Muhammad Arslan; CIIT/SP16-BCS-136/LHR; Asmara Safdar; LHR TP 6317
In this final year project, we are going to work on robot’s task planning. In task planning, robots plan a sequence of high-level actions to perform a given task autonomously. To perform a basic robot (e.g. such as a service robot) operation autonomously, spatial information and general knowledge (domain knowledge and meaning of the objects) about the objects is needed. Spatial information includes position and geometry of objects, a structure of space, connectivity among places and areas, and the appearance of the objects. In our work, for knowledge of the objects, we focus on the use of semantic knowledge which is integrated with the spatial information by semantic maps. Use of semantic knowledge can improve efficiency to perform certain tasks, we are using specific environment for our robot, in which the task planning will be done by the robot.

    Transpo Tracky
(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus., 2020-11-20) M. Shahzaib Minhas; FA16-BCS-340; Asmara Safdar; LHR TP 6163
A Bus Tracking System for university students, faculty, drivers and administration. The passengers can view all the provided routes, get route/stop suggestions and after having a selected route, can trace the live location of their bus. The drivers can create trips on available routes, get navigations to stay on path, share their live location with potential passengers and can track their record along with bus meter readings. Administration can manage sessions, routes, buses and their system’s stakeholders.
