    Street Harassment
(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2018) Aqsa Nazir; FA14-BDE-005; Mr. Ihtasham Farooqi; LHR TP 5389
Street harassment refers to unwanted and often threatening behaviors—such as catcalling, stalking, inappropriate comments, or physical advances—directed at individuals in public spaces. It disproportionately affects women and marginalized groups, limiting their sense of safety, freedom of movement, and participation in society. Rooted in gender inequality and social power dynamics, street harassment is both a social and human rights issue. Addressing it requires public awareness, legal frameworks, and cultural change to create safer and more inclusive environments.
