Sensing Platform based on Metal Organic Framework for the Quantitative Determination of Antibiotic Remains in Animal Derived Food
(Library Information Services COMSATS University Islamabad Lahore Campus, 2023-02-26) FA21-R06-017; Ameer Hamza; Dr. Mustansara Yaqub; LHR TP 8448
In this pioneering research work, we have successfully synthesized a highly advanced Copper Gallic Acid-L-Arginine Metal-Organic Framework (Cu-Gallic Acid-L-Arginine MOF) and ingeniously engineered it into an extraordinary electrochemical sensor, enabling the unparalleled sensitivity in the detection of chloramphenicol (CAP). To validate the successful formation of the Cu-Gallic Acid-L-Arginine MOF, a comprehensive array of cutting-edge characterization techniques including Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), UV-Vis Spectroscopy, Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), and Zeta potential analysis were meticulously employed. To evaluate the exceptional electrochemical properties of the Cu-MOF-based sensor, Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) and Cyclic voltammetry (CV) were utilized, providing deep insights into its performance. Furthermore, the Cu-MOF-modified Pencil Graphite Electrode (PGE) demonstrated excellent detection proficiency in the presence of chloramphenicol. The performance of the developed sensor was truly remarkable, showcasing an extensive linear detection range from 1nM to 1000nM, along with an astonishingly low detection limit of 0.36nM (S/N = 3). Moreover, this highly promising sensor showcased exceptional sensitivity, robust stability, impressive repeatability, and a commendable recovery rate for the electrochemical detection of CAP in real samples. These ground-breaking findings elevate the Cu-Gallic Acid-L-Arginine MOF-based sensor to an unprecedented level, positioning it as a leading-edge technology for CAP detection, and underscoring its immense potential in diverse applications.

Thermodynamic Phase Transitions of Black Hole Through Modified Entropy
(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2025) Ameer Hamza; CIIT/SP24-RMT-007/LHR; Dr. Abdul Jawad; LHR TP 10070
In this thesis, we investigate charged black hole through the framework of Bekenstein- Hawking entropy and modified exponential entropy. These entropies are selected for their direct proportionality to the black hole’s horizon area and its natural derivation from Ein- stein’s field equations. The Bekenstein–Hawking entropy is a universally accepted and geometrically well-defined measure that is directly proportional to the area of the event horizon. On the other hand, the exponential entropy enhances the classical framework by integrating non-extensive and correlation effects inherent to gravitational systems, facili- tating regulated deviations from conventional thermodynamics. These two entropies offer both theoretical precision and practical flexibility in the analysis of black hole thermody- namics. We consider the Davies phase transition formalism, and discuss the stability of a black hole in its respective space and calculate its topological properties for dynamic stability. The expressions for mass, temperature, specific heat and divergence points are calculated. Also, we calculate the winding number an total topological charge with the help of phase portraits to discuss the local stable behavior of under consideration black hole for both entropy expression.
