Item Cogentro CMS(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2023) Ali Hassan; Sp19-BSE- 044; LHR TP 8236; MUHAMMAD USMAN AKRAMIn this world of technological advancements, people rely heavily on automated systems to get their daily tasks done. The sedentary lifestyle of humans these days has expedited the necessity of such web and mobile-based systems that can help them in getting things done with minimum effort. This brings the idea of our system into life. Many content management systems (CMS) are available in the market. But are not specially designed which could be integrated in pre-build systems or websites to assist them according to their structure. Our project identifies these problems and brings out the opportunity to use CMS as an integrated system being used by Cogentro for their system. Content Management system (CMS), is software that helps users create, manage, and modify content on a website without the need for specialized technical knowledge This project is continuation of multi-tenant web-based project of Cogentro Systems which includes Hyper Market(An innovative online store) and Cabify (Online cab booking WebApp). This CMS will be attached with previous projects, websites by their own self without having any domain knowledge of programming.Item Destination(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2021) Ali Hassan; FA17-BSE 142; Humaira Afzal; LHR TP 7013Pakistan is rich in culture and history, so this application will promote tourism by providing accommodation, transport, and guidance to tourists. People from all over the world will get to know the famous places through this. In this way, we would provide a web application that will provide all the related information and services related to traveling to tourists at one place to give them ease while whirling. That will also help the vendors to grow their business as well as it will grow Pakistan’s economy.Item Drought Analysis using Transmuted Weibull Distribution(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus., 2020-04-01) Ali Hassan; CIIT/FA19-BST-005/LHR; Dr. Mian Muhammad Farooq; LHR TP 9940The study aims to predict the drought analysis using monthly rainfall and temperature data. Over the past years drought is becoming important factor that is affected by climate changes in Pakistan. In this study we analyze the impact of drought in Punjab Districts. For this purpose, firstly data collected by Pakistan Metrological Department of Punjab Districts for the years 1993 to 2022 and then further competitive strategy analysis that fits our analysis or predictions are sought and critically reviewed. Then the chosen parts from strategy analysis are applied for the graphical presentation. Firstly, Applying Standardized Precipitation Index based on precipitation data by fitting transmuted Weibull distribution from the year 1993 to 2022 of each District (Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Jehlum, Jhang, Lahore, Sialkot, Sargodha, Faisalabad, and Multan) to get know about classification of drought against each observed precipitation values and understand the impact of precipitation on drought. Transmuted Weibull Distribution is fitted on precipitation data to normalize it as SPI is calculated after fitting distribution on it. Further to identify trends of drought SPI calculated at different time scales by moving average of Three months, six months, and Twelve months to find SPI values and then these values are classified according to their drought conditions as moderate, severe, extreme near to normal, slightly wet, and extreme wet. Secondly applying Standardized Anomaly Index is another index that is widely used for drought analysis based on temperature data. SAI is calculated against each District (Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Jehlum, Jhang, Lahore, Sialkot, Sargodha, Faisalabad, and Multan) from 1993 to 2023. By SAI values we can analyze the impact of temperature on drought. SAI values are shown in graphical form below in Chapter Results, that shows the trend and the SAI values against each year of a particular District.Item TradeUp.biz - Business Management Information System V6.0(Library Information Services, CUI Lahore, 2022) Ali Hassan; FA18- BCS-171; Nadeem Ghafoor CHTradeup.biz previously known as business management information system (BMIS) is a web-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, which is being developed and designed by keeping in view the business landscape of Pakistan. The corporate sector often has investments to upgrade their systems from manual to digital irrespective of the cost. But small scale to medium-scale businesses don't have sufficient budgets, and they rely on conventional methods that are hard to manage. We aim to design and develop a cost-effective and efficient system for them. Our system will allow business owners to manage multibranch, accounts (related information), employees, clients, and other day-to-day business activities effectively and transparently. They will be able to grow their business using the reports generated by our system. The system designed will be adaptive for wholesalers as well as retailers. This project is under development, and some former fyp students have worked on it. We have extended it by adding more features like multibranch, POS without accounts, service management, and many more. We also refined earlier work and fixed issues in the system.
