Abstract:
Bureau of statistics, Government of Punjab is the pivot of statistical data and information. The Bureau of statistics is attached to the Planning and Development Board Punjab. The Bureau of statistics contains all the data of industries, factories, hospitals, educational institutes, livestock, agriculture, transportation of Punjab based on the districts level.
This report covers my tasks/activities that I performed during the internship period at the Bureau of statistics. The main theme of Bureau of statistics is to estimate the population, to prepare socio economic indicators of province, and performing the baseline survey is also the event of Bureau of statistics.
Bureau of statistics Punjab has 16 field offices and there is a headquarters in Lahore.
