Production of 1000 tons/day Urea by Monte-Catini (Total Recycle Process)

Abstract

Urea [CO(NH2)2], also known as carbamide or carbonyl di-amide is a nitrogen well as in the manufacture of plastics. It is one of the most common method uses for the production of urea. Raw materials for this process are Carbon dioxide and Ammonia. Carbon dioxide for this process is obtained by subjecting the natural gas to reforming processes
