PRODUCTION OF DIMETHYL AMINES BY ALKYLATION OF AMMONIA HAVING A PLANT CAPACITY OF 100 TONS/DAY

Abstract

The project focuses on the production of dimethyl amines (DMA) through the alkylation of ammonia and alcohols, with a plant capacity of 100 tons per day. The process aims to convert methanol and ammonia into monomethylamine (MMA), dimethylamine (DMA), and trimethylamine (TMA) as final product streams. The project's objective is to develop an economically viable, energy-efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly process to meet the growing demand for these chemicals in various applications.
